Share your stories for Housing Day 2014!
29th Oct 2014
Are you a Newlon resident or resident involvement worker who has a story to share?
The Tenant Participation Advisory Service (TPAS), is the leading national tenant involvement organisation. They are participating in a campaign to celebrate the positive impact of social housing across the UK.
Central to this is ‘Housing Day 2014’, which will be held on 12th November, where stories are shared on a single day by housing landlords, staff and residents.
TPAS are looking for people who want to give their stories. You could write a diary of a day in your role in resident involvement. Or explain how you became involved in the first place. Or you could write about your biggest resident involvement success of the year.
The stories will be featured on their website and across other social media channels, so that they reach as wide an audience as possible.
They are looking for stories to be around 250 – 300 words long.
Go to the TPAS website to find out more.
If you are a resident who is not active in resident involvement, but still want to share your story and experiences in social housing, then contact us directly.
