Join in the Big Lunch this June!

Fancy organising a Big Lunch for your street or estate?

The Big Lunch is an idea from the Eden Project. The aim is to get as many people as possible across the UK to have lunch with their neighbours on the first Sunday in June each year, in a simple act of community, friendship and fun. It attempts to show how the simple act of sharing lunch together can help people feel part of their community.

Since it began in 2009, thousands of Big Lunches have taken place in all types of communities. Last year almost 5 million people joined in.

The next Big Lunch is on Sunday, 7th June.
