New Barnsbury transformation gets the go ahead

We are really pleased to report that last night Islington’s Planning Committee gave approval for our plans for the transformation of the new Barnsbury Estate, the part of the Estate which was constructed between the 1950s -1970s. 

The transformation involves the complete rebuilding of this part of the estate to provide modern, energy efficient housing, providing a once in a generation opportunity to deal with overcrowding on the Estate. The plans will also deliver enhanced community facilities and increased green space on the Estate as well as 135 additional homes for social rent providing much needed new affordable housing for the borough. Working with our development partners Mount Anvil the aim is to start onsite in March 2023.
