Project Manager – Special Projects

Newlon Housing Trust is a successful charitable housing association and one of the major providers of new affordable housing in north and east London. And right now, we’re looking for a Project Manager.

You will be responsible for the development, management and control of major latent defect remedial works projects, with a strong focus on both internal and external fire safety. You will provide Newlon and its customers with a cost effective, high quality, customer focussed rectification programme.

A key function of this post will be to assist and support the Assistant Director by taking ownership of a number of projects, liaising with residents and stakeholders on major defects projects, including dealing with complaints and ensuring all routes to cost recovery are explored.

Not only will you be an experienced and talented Projects professional with experience of running projects with an average between £100K-£8M, but your broader skills, commitment to diversity and values driven way of leading will mean that you stand out from your peers. With qualifications in construction related disciplines and health & safety, you will have solid experience in construction project management and procurement, with fire safety qualifications being a distinct advantage.

You will be able to work effectively on your own while still being able to understand where your work fits in as part of the Team and the Organisation. While managing one of your own team members and developing their knowledge and skills.
