Leasehold Sales Officer

Description

Newlon Housing Trust is a successful charitable housing association and one of the major providers of housing in north and east London.

We have an opportunity for a highly pro-active and customer focussed individual to join our Sales team.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the day to day function of leasehold sales services to Newlon residents including Staircasing, Resales, Right to Buy, Right to Acquire and Lease Extensions.  Liaising effectively with Solicitors, Brokers, Surveyors and Estate Agents, you will manage transactions from application stage through to completion. You will also play a leading role in the marketing and promotion of our products to a range of client groups.

With a housing background and experience of dealing with the residential conveyancing process, you will have proven knowledge of shared ownership resales and staircasing transactions gained within a housing/development organisation as well as housing legislation on leasehold and freehold sales. You will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of audiences and a strong drive to hit targets. You will also have good planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage a large and varied workload.

In return, you can expect 27 days holiday, a non-contributory pension, excellent benefits and a flexi scheme.  You’ll also be working out of purpose-built offices that form part of the award-winning Hale Village regeneration project, and are situated just two minutes’ walk from the major transport interchange at Tottenham Hale.
