Short Term Intermediate Rent (STIR) Team Leader
Description
Newlon Housing Trust is a successful charitable housing association and one of the major providers of new affordable housing in north and east London.
We have an opportunity for an experienced customer service professional to lead our STIR team and ensure a high quality and customer-focussed service is provided to residents.
Managing a remote team, you will monitor, support, train and motivate team members to deal effectively, efficiently and sensitively with customers, whilst dealing personally with difficult cases or those with legal complexity. You will also supervise the housing management service and carry out checks on voids and lettings to ensure the correct tenancies have been provided and rents charged.
With first class leaderships skills and the ability to motivate and support others, you will have experience in managing challenging tenancy issues and resolving complaints from service users. You will also have sound knowledge of the welfare benefits framework and housing legislation, with particular reference to harassment, nuisance and tenancy matters. The ability to travel to, and work from, a number of locations is also essential.
In return, you can expect 27 days holiday, a non-contributory pension, excellent benefits and a flexi scheme.
