Board members (two roles)

Description

We are looking for two new Board members.

At Newlon we believe passionately that the delivery of high quality affordable homes and services have the power to make a positive difference to people’s lives and life chances. We also take great pride in working in the UK’s most diverse city.

If you share our ethos, then this could be a great opportunity to join a friendly and focused Board team in one of our roles.

We have a service culture that emphasises inclusivity and equality; where services are reliable and consistent, and delivered with respect and empathy. So, your people skills and leadership style will support collaborative, inclusive working that encourages accountability, with a focus on how things are done and the outcomes that are achieved.

It’s a great opportunity to contribute to an organisation that values diversity, service excellence and placemaking; and one where your skills and perspectives will be highly valued.

  • HR/people role: A senior track record with strategic insight into current people challenges and opportunities for recruitment, retention and development. While social housing experience is not essential, prior Board experience is.
  • Social housing management/ customer experience role: Insight into good governance along with a leadership track record in a social housing setting, with a particular focus on housing management and strategic insight into the influences on customer experience/satisfaction.
