Graduate Finance Assistant (Treasury)

Description

Our residents are at the heart of everything we do at Newlon. With approximately 8,000 affordable homes across north and east London, we are implementing changes and improvements to bring all our services up to our Newlon Gold standard of service excellence.

Are you looking to start your career in Finance in an organisation which aims to reach the highest possible standards in everything it does? We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated graduate to join us in our finance department and experience every part of our treasury function under the guidance of our Treasury Business Partner and Head of Treasury and Business Planning. You will be given the guidance and training you need to develop your skills including study support and learn every aspect of the finance and treasury work of a busy finance office whilst working towards gaining your CIMA, ACCA, ACA or ACT accreditation.

To join the team, you will need to be a graduate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office, great financial and numerical awareness and the ability to work flexibly to meet deadlines and prioritise your workload effectively. An excellent communicator with a methodical approach, you will be able to work well within a team and enjoy working in a busy finance environment. You must be serious and committed to working towards a professional accounting/treasury qualification.

In return, you can expect 27 days holiday, a non-contributory pension, excellent benefits, hybrid working and a flexi-time scheme. You’ll also be working out of purpose-built offices that form part of the award-winning Hale Village regeneration project and are situated just two minutes’ walk from the major transport interchange at Tottenham Hale.
